This was exclusively coordinated by former secretary of Ministry of Enterprises Mr Purathi Jayakumara and OS-UK President Mr Mohamed Shiyamin. All building materials and logistics were coordinated by Tissa Wijesundara and Janaka Devapura in Sri Lanka. Funds for this project were raised entirely by Ruhun De Silva, the son of Dr. Samantha De Silva, a trustee of the OS-UK. He played 100 golf holes in a day, starting at 6 am playing through non-stop until 8 pm carrying a 15kg golf bag along the way, a mammoth task which was rewarded with generous contributions from members of Trentham Gold Club, members of the OS-UK as well as the local community of Stoke on Trent. Residue funds he raised was donated to R.M. Aberathna housing build initiative during the luncheon.
